ragnalek asked: Hello. In all honesty I'm not a big girl at all and my friends tend to think of me as the tiny one. I read one of your blogs saying that commercials depict a skinny girl as being so in love with her body and so happy. I agree with you completely in saying it's not true. I'm comfortable naked but in a more negative "I don't care what people think" sort of way. I weigh 122 lbs. and I can't stand naked infront of a mirror and see a happy girl. But you inspired me to want to. Thank you.

Hello R, Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog. I hear you about being the small girl. My BFF is 105 pounds. Life comes with its challenges no matter what size you are. When we go shopping it is hard for  her to find clothes to fit her frame. She’s not thrilled with her body, she’s self conscious about her tiny bottom so she rarely wears pants. Of course I think she is perfect but it doesn’t matter what I think she is the one living in her body.

I am happy you are striving to feel comfortable in your skin… I hope you find the confidence you deserve.

Warm regards,

Lisa

ladylovesbodies asked: Hi! I just wanted to write and share that I reblogged several of your photos after cropping them to highlight how very well they exemplify everywoman. If this at all bothers you, please let me know and I will remove them. I labeled them with links to your original posts. I do hope this doesn't bother you as I did it with purely a positive sharing intent. I REALLY love your blog! Thank-you for sharing it with us!! Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, LLB

Dear LLB, I realize that some time has passed since you sent this message. Because of the nature of this comment I needed to process how I feel about the alterations of my photos. I don’t know if you know this but my photos are all self-portraits. I do everything, lighting, makeup, editing and photographing. These photos encapsulate my artistic vision. They are my artistic expression. I am not comfortable with you adjusting them. Lets say you had paintings and I made my own adjustments to them… would you be happy with that? I am pleased that you like my photos and I appreciate you re-blogging them but I don’t like that you made adjustments to them… especially without my permission. It would have been nice if you asked me prior to posting them. Could you please delete my adjusted photos from your blog?

Thank you kindly,

Lisa
